TRAININGS

We are Egypt’s leading centre for the study of therapeutic drama and applied theatre. Our programs offer training in Playback Theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed, Psychodrama and other action methods. Students include community workers, psychologists and psychiatrists. Our programs provide student-centered frameworks for developing skills, knowledge and practical experience. At the heart of our pedagogical approach is the belief that transformative education involves a dynamic exchange between students, facilitators, and community.

WORKSHOPS

Dawar is a popular workshop venue. We host a wide range of workshops and classes in dance, singing, acting, storytelling, writing, mindfulness, yoga, psychodrama, and more.

CULTURAL EVENTS

We believe that vibrant and accessible cultural activities are central to a healthy society. We hold regular cultural events including theatre performances, live music and literary readings.
